Toilets and campfire are magnificent. Walking trails are also great but the markers need to either repaired or replaced.

Was originally bored when I set up camp at this site. After doing the walk to the cave, I became intrigued with this area and especially after researching Captain Melville on the Internet. Didn't explore the cave, but, will go back again to explore the area in the future. Great views of the granite rocks and hills in the area.

Awesome free campsite. Plenty of space in both of the grounds. Long drop toilet and awesome views from the lookout.

I recommend anyone going to explore the area, drive to the camping area, at the top of the hill, rather than exploring the area from the picnic area at the bottom of the hill. Exploring the cave from the picnic area requires a good up hill walk, whereas, the walk to the cave from the top camp area is about a 500 metre easy walk. Enjoy.
